Accounting and Sales Administration

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a young growing Irish Whiskey company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the brand, you will be responsible for all accounting tasks and you will also partnering with the sales administration at times to support the business activity.

Missions

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a young growing Irish Whiskey company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the brand, you will be responsible for all accounting tasks and you will also partnering with the sales administration at times to support the business activity.

Main activities:

Accounting

  • Participate to the implementation of the Accounting Software
  • Managing and processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing all incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, banks and Revenue
  • Payment of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring all revenue requirements are met, including RCT/ VAT/PAYE returns
  • Miscellaneous accounting tasks
  • Accurate recording of all cash activity on a daily basis
  • In charge of the company Payroll
  • Monthly payroll processing including timesheets, entitlement and payslips
  • Checking and input of employee expense claim forms
  • Company Management Accounts:
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts; inclusive of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Analysis and KPI’s
  • Assisting with the annual budget process

Sales administration

  • Regular reporting with the business manager
  • Stock management
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure good transportation of the finished products
  • Process invoices and orders for all sales transactions
  • Drive the sales administration (confirm the orders, invoice the clients, organize the customs documentation, request the transport quotes…)
  • Check if prices and contracts are up to date for all transactions
  • Follow and report statistics of advertising investment
  • Report and track the transport issues
  • Process orders and track the delivery  
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers to answers their queries (prices, invoices, information…) and offer solutions to their issues

Qualifications

  • CPA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Good working knowledge of Irish Revenue systems
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Self-starter who can critically analyse and assess information
  • Good knowledge of accounting software
  • Organized and team oriented
